I am 70 years young, so they say. Thing is my (around 8-10) year old heat pump basically exploded yesterday. This is a new experience and I sit here clueless. Called an “expert” to confirm and he did charging me $85. So now I need to find a new one I can afford looks like. May have to save for months before even considering looking around for one though. In fact it could be next year this time, if I am still around, till I can actually gather enough funds necessary for one.
Does anyone out there know of any hopeful outlooks possible for me at this point? Thanks guys, just need a bit of hope ! God bless you

We just had a new Carrier heat pump installed at our home when our old system failed. I was given many different options, but decided on this one to increase my efficiency and keep the price as low as possible.
